The Ask

Earth Day is a day to promote environmental protection. The goal of Earth Day Action Quest is to reduce the impact on the earth and promote better stewards of resources.

Solution

The goal was to encourage residents to visit the website where they could complete challenges, learn about waste reduction, and receive prizes for completing tasks. A fun illustration style was used for creative direction as most of the site users are children and their parents. A bear, bird, and turtle character were created to demonstrate good recycling habits. Nature scenery is mixed in with city elements to show the relation residents should feel to the earth around them.
