Forty percent of food in the United States ends up in the trash. Ramsey and Washington County in Minnesota launched a campaign to encourage residents—specifically parents of young children—to waste less and gain valuable tips for storing and saving food.

Solution

Play with your food—but don't play around with food waste. In this campaign, common food items were arranged on plates to look like a fish, rocket ship, car, and more. They were photographed and paired with witty phrases to promote the message.
